Home Foodie is a cooking show hosted by real life couple Iya Villana and Drew Arellano featuring a wide array of San Miguel Purefoods products used in different Madalian meals (madali na, delicious pa) inspired by trending dishes from restaurants and teaching new hacks and twist to classic favorites.

1 (1.2 kg) pc PUREFOODS CRISPY PATA
3/4 cup light soy sauce
2 pc star anise
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup sherry or cooking wine
8 pc shiitake mushrooms
water enough to cover pata
2 pc bok choy, blanched (for garnish)
Procedure:
- Combine all ingredients in a stockpot. Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil.
- Lower heat to simmering and continue to cook until pata is fork tender, about 4 hours. Add water if necessary. Adjust seasonings as needed. Garnish with bok choy, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
