For avid book readers epilogue refers to the last section of a book containing the conclusion of the characters’ journey. This being said this new restaurant offers most satisfying and enjoyable experience from Japanese chefs who mastered making pasta from scratch in Italy, baking the perfect wine bread, pairing wagyu with handcrafted steak demi glace or gently placing a Belgian chocolate dome on a heap of Italian gelato.

In Japan, kodawari or meticulousness is a way of life - taking basic ingredients and elevating them to the next level. These chefs all practice kodawari taking pride in pursuing excellence in every culinary specialty.

Chef Hiroyuki Meno is the most well traveled of the chefs whose expertise is in French cuisine. He worked in various Michelin starred restaurants- Domaine Les Haut Rochse in Loire, France, Le Pont de Ciel in Osaka, Japan and L’Auberge de L’ill in Tokyo, Japan. He was the executive chef of Brasserie Paul Bocuse and 1-star Maison Paul Bocuse in Tokyo, Japan with tie-up to a 3-star Restaurant Paul Bocue in Lyon, France.

After our lunch at Uma Uma Ramen, we headed over at Epilogue for some desserts and coffee. The place was spacious but wasn't as packed for a Saturday afternoon. I was amazed by their selection of pastries and breads. I just wanted to try everything but of course I have to watch my blood sugar levels 🤣

OVERALL: I would love to go back and try their savory dishes instead. Let me know if you have any recommendations. I really liked their Dulce de Leche, it was smooth and silky in my mouth. Their Cocoon was entertaining to watch but i wasn't able to enjoy it since I was full from lunch. I also enjoyed their coffee since it had a bold flavor without being too acidic.
